Separated

When I was a child I moved a lot. I moved twice in Delaware and five times once I moved to California. I may know what it is like coming to a new town and getting a sort of seclusion from the people in town because I was different then them. But i could never imagine moving to another country let alone moving to another country without my parents.Moving is hard enough with a family but, to me, moving without my family almost seems unthinkable. Or at least it was unthinkable until turned Eighteen but they were still by my side as I moved to my first apartment. But the children in the video and Marjane only had them selves with little contact with their parents. The video help me understand a little more about how hard and painful moving to another country by yourself is. Not knowing their culture or, in some cases it seems, even the dominant language.  Now i can give a little more compassion for those who are having this problem. Group three chose a very good source for their presentation and I cant wait to hear what the others in class have to say about it too.
