Hispanic Stories

I was able to relate to some of of these stories, but only slightly and so my take on it is mixed I guess. On one hand I can see where they come from and it must be tough feeling like you belong neither here nor there, having your old culture contract the new ones in many ways but on the other, they didn't really know the first that much to begin with. I think its a good thing to bring this up as Marjane enters a new country and deals with culture shock in her own way. Its interesting to me what another culture does to one so patriotic actually, and I was highly curious as to what lengths she would go to ease her tension or not at all.
