    Speaker: Kavita Ramdas: Philanthropist

     

     The speaker Kavita Ramdas supports women's human rights. She was raised in Afghanistan where women are similarly oppressed like in Iran. She also traveled around the world, and speaks about other women's experiences. What this speaker talks about relates to Persepolis 2 the Makeup and Socks chapters that include incidents of Marjane being oppressed as a women by Iran's regime.
