Hispanic stories

Watching this video, it makes you open your eyes to what other types of things people are going through or what they have gone through. When families have to move somewhere else, they are entering a totally unknown world that they will have to accustom to. When you have to put yourself in a brand new society with different ideas and different cultures, it's very difficult to adjust. Even after a certain amount of time, these certain people still may not feel welcome in their new environment because of who they are, what they act like, or what they look like. This video demonstrates what Marjane had to do in Persepolis. Her parents sent her away to Vienna so she would be more safe and protected from the war. She feels like she doesn't belong but she tries to conform and make the best of it. On the inside though, Marjane doesn't change who she is and stays true to her culture. I
