Inquiry Project Medicinal Marijuana

I am researching medical marijuana and how the movement has progressed into what it is today. I will be touching on the three sides to the movement; the people completely against Marijuana being used in any way, activists who want medical Marijuana to be accessible to patients in need without the fear of consequence from the law, and the activists trying to push for the full legalization for the recreational use of the cannabis plant. I will research all three sides and find out how my viewpoint on this topic will change or stay the same. I believe that the cannabis plant has medical values but also has negative long term effects to your body. I understand that Marijuana is a drug, and thus provides an effect to its user; this effect can be positive or negative, it just depends on who the user is. I have done research and discovered new findings about medicinal Marijuana from a neurosurgeon, a strong activist who owns the biggest Marijuana dispensary in the world, and charts showing that far less people die from marijuana than FDA approved drugs.
