Hispanic Stories

He talks about how in America we aren't as friendly or close to one another, that we become "cold blooded", that in order to assimilate with our culture you have to lose a part of yourself to become this way. Every culture is going to be different and I think you will have to assimilate yourself to some extent to be part of any culture. There are also people who will not want you to be part of their culture so they offend you in many ways, like racism, which in our country today is still a sad problem. But there are also good people out there who also want to help and accept you. Some things will be easy to assimilate to and some will be hard but if you're a strong person you will still retain the things that make you YOU in the end.
