Art

Shirin Neshat talks about how the western culture became nothing but entertainment. I believe this is true. The U.S is not like Iran, we have much more freedom. We can speak out freely on any topic without any punishment or torturing. Of course art tells a story and can stand for something but the U.S sees that as entertainment. Iran uses their art as their way to communicate their issues, beliefs, and political views. This puts the arts in extreme danger. Art is their only was to express themselves since their government has empowered them.
