Inquiry Project follow-up

For my project I plan to research basketball and looks at specific events and people who changed the game and had an impact on the american people.  I also am going to look at the history of basketball and it's development over time.  I grew up with basketball as a kid an have played it all my life, it's basically apart of me and so I want to do a through research project on the sport.  For my most recent memo, I looked at an important game that took place back in 1963, during March Madness.  It was an important game because four African American were in the starting line-up for one of the teams, which had never been done before.  This was one step towards breaking the racial barrier between blacks and whites at the time.  This game is apart of our history and had a huge impact on the american people so my goal is to show people the sport of basketball helped shape the world we live in today.  Many sports have had this affect similar to this, so I might do some research on other sports too.
