Kavita Ramdas

After reading the section, in the book, and watching the video its hard to believe that women are treated so horribly in other parts of the world.  Since I was born in a world where I was taught to not disrespect or treat others badly its weird to think it happens in other parts of the world.  I know it happens but its just weird to think about, it makes me happy that I live in America and feel blessed.  Its also very impressive that there are so many brave people out there to stand up and make their voice be heard.  Against all the negatives and dangers that might affect them they ignore it and pursue what they believe in. Overall after watching the video I feel inspired to do something about it and make sure people are equal around the world.
