Art in Exile Reflection

After watching the TED talk about art in exile, it opened my eyes to the difficulties and struggles of other countries that sometimes we as individuals don't realize or aren't informed of. The speaker Shirin Neshat really enlightened me on the struggles of being expressive in an overprotective government.  On the other hand, she over came her struggles very well by the way she expressed the problems in a film.  This also helps to spread the word to other countries and people about feeling like being in exile which is a good idea because hopefully it would open up the governments eyes to considering a more stable and independent country.
