Radical Women

No one take this the wrong way but I like it that there is a Indian Female Rights activist, prior to this TedTalk I didn't know any. The reason I say I like is because as many know India is one of the most gender discriminating countries in the modern world today. So I applaud Kavita for her bravery. Her point at the begin gave to me something to think about, that in many countries where women are discriminated against they are also the ones who preserve tradition or are held up as part of tradition themselves. Its puzzling but its a bit of an unfortunate scenario that has played out. Despite being part of a Tedtalk, Kavita is talking about a valid argument, gender discrimination is a plague that has run too long for and must continue to be taken down one barrier at a time.
