Radical women embracing tradition

Women all over the world fight to have the equal rights of men. It's a shame that there is such a great amount of  inequality between men and women in different parts of the wold. Even in the US where women are given the same amount of legal rights there is still a great amount of inequality. In the ted talk Kavita Ramadas talks about how women can fight for their right while also keeping traditions and culture. Many my see a veil on the face of a woman as being sexist, but the veil allows for women to be seen as something more than just an object for desire and in a way can be empowering i can imagine.
