Why don't we complain?

This article makes me think back to all the times where i choose to suffer in silence instead of possibly being a bother to someone else, but for the most part i tend to think i am willing to complain in a respectful manner. There is a fine line between being assertive and being a dick, or an assertive dick. Sometimes you need to be willing to come across as a jerk, and this is hard for me and many others because we worry we will make people mad at us. I will keep this article in mind next time i feel that i am suffering silence to preserve others opinions of me.
