Peer Review

I have never really liked having my peers read my work, it just makes me feel uncomfortable and they don't give me very helpful advice about what to fix. The way Kim Jackson has her students work on the peer reviews seems like it works well and the students actually do find it helpful. I like how she has her students take their peers papers home to have time to read over and review them more and think about the ideas on it so that they can give thoughtful and helpful advice. Reading this article has somewhat raised my expectations about what to expect from peer reviews, and I hope that whenever we do them in class they will be much better than they have been in the past.
