Finally an adult who doesn't bad talk texting and understands what the real point of it is.  Someone who actually understands the meaning of texting an why this generation does it.  A lot of adults think that texting is destroying language but it clearly isn't their just annoying.  Every generation adopts  something new and different but its always taken as a negative, no matter what it is.  We as humans have made it this far so I think we are doing okay even though our elders think otherwise.  Anyways the talk was amazing by John McWhorter, him talking about the difference between writing and casual speech was very interesting.
