V for Vendetta has made an impact on our pop culture and has played a significant role in politics. The hacker group Anonymous has obviously taken ques from V for Vendetta, and regardless of your opinion of the hacker group, Anonymous has done some incredible things in the political arena. Anonymous has taken the idea of not having a leader or an individual to be the face of the group and has been able to make such a big impact they have become a household name. They played a big role in the occupy movement and have really gotten people to think differently about corporations and the government. I think that Anonymous is an interesting group and has given me hope that individuals can organize themselves and have the power to change the world for the better. The article i found gave some insight to what Anonymous has done and how governments see them as a huge threat.
