Reflecting on Stedman's "Annoying ways people use sources"
While reading the article, "Annoying ways people use sources," I found it very interesting the way that Kyle Stedman used the analogy of driving a car. At first when reading the article, I was very confused by the analogy, it then occurred to me that analytically; the annoyances of driving a car compares to the annoyances of using sources incorrectly. This article was actually helpful because it opened my eyes to the faults of using sources incorrectly, in fact, I can admit that I have incorrectly used sources the way some of the examples in the article did. Whether it be effectively using quotations, or deciding whether each quote is even worth having in your paper, this article definitely enlightened me on the importance and effectiveness of using sources correctly.
