Why Don't We Complain?

Why Don't We Complain?

It is obvious that many people are scared to act out towards authority, even when they know something is not right or something should be done. This is all a feeling we share. Buckley explains this concept with the fact that many people think that their voice and their actions will be judged and hurtfully dealt with. All of us have power within us, thats how people become leaders. It is about becoming confident in yourself and letting go of your shyness. Buckley wants us to speak out when there is problem, because if no one does then it will continue to Happen. There is a chance that when you speak out that people will instantly judge or stare at your creating a sense of nervousness and mortification. Buckley says that this is caused by helplessness that we all have. We should not be waiting for people to do things for us. Our generations have become more lazy and dependent on others for services and comfort. When society becomes so reluctant to having no complaints, then our emotions and who we are in a society cease to exist. Buckley wants us to realize that by speaking out on what you believe in will cause a change in the world, it betters our world. Don't be afraid of being who you are and speaking up for what you think is right.
