v for vendetta Cody Long
When things aren't going good for you and you are being pushed around enough is enough. You have tried to play their way because you are afraid to stand up to them but you need to stand up for what you believe in. In the movie V for Vendetta the character V is tired of the government ruling him and decides to do something about it. He needed to make the people believe that they could stand up to the government. It may not be the thing he wanted to do but when your back's against a wall sometimes it's okay to fight back. One person can make a difference in the world, they just need the courage to stand up for their fellow people and what they believe in. Just like the video I chose to represent what I'm trying to say Martin Luther King Jr. is one man making a difference. I feel that this video shows us that the actions taken by the character V in V for Vendetta are justifiable because V wants to see change just as in MLK's video. It may not always be what other people think is right but under the circumstances these two men are in something had to be done

When rights have been taken away and we are pushed to the limit, we have to learn to fight back. The Declaration of Independence says that when a government becomes corrupt it is the right of the people to throw out that government. In V for Vendetta though that isn't the case. These people have just given up their liberties and rights and are doing nothing about it. One individual is trying to spark something in these people to help them see what they can do, now its up to them to make a choice. Live the way they have been and live under that corrupt government or stand up to it and change it for the better.
