Reflection of Friday's interactions

In class when we had to talk about our inquiry research topics,  I found it very useful because it really made me think about what I want to focus on in my topic and what more I should research.  Some students asked really helpful questions that made me rethink about what it is that I want people to get from my paper and what I want them to know.  I basically explained my topic to the students and explained what I have learned and researched and what some of my research questions are.  Seeing what certain students' thoughts on my questions helped me to see what would be important to focus on and what people want to know about.  Also I am very interested in interviewing someone who could give me a lot of insight on the culture of metal up here in Chico. Moreover, hearing everyone elses' research topics were very interesting as well and now I have a better sense of how I will be organizing my paper.
